Installing, pairing, and troubleshooting FairAds Media Player software across supported hardware platforms.
FairAds AI supports a wide variety of hardware media player platforms to drive physical displays.
Supported Operating Systems
- Android / Android TV: Version 8.0+ (ARM64 / x86)
- Linux / Raspberry Pi: Ubuntu 20.04+ / Raspbian (Debian 11+)
- Windows: Windows 10 / 11 Enterprise LTSC
- BrightSign Players: Series 4 and Series 5 (BrightAuthor OS)
Installation & Pairing Steps
1. Download Player Package
Download the latest FairAds Player installer for your OS platform from the Manage > Inventory > Player Downloads menu.
2. Launch & Device Registration
Upon launching the player application on your screen device:
- The app generates a 6-digit pairing code (e.g.
FA-8942). - Open your Partner Portal, click Pair New Player, and submit the code.

FairAds Media Player is built for resilient offline operation:
- Ad assets and schedules are cached locally on player storage.
- If internet connectivity drops, the player continues looping cached ads uninterrupted.
- Play logs and Proof of Performance (POP) batches sync automatically once network connectivity is restored.
